Judge Sherry Jackson sworn in our newest police officers during a brief ceremony at the Bi-State Justice Center this morning. Chief Kevin Schutte then presented Officers Rayveum Blakely and Joe Rochelle with their Certificate of Appointment and offered both of them words of encouragement and congratulations.

They’ll now start our sixteen-week field training program. During this time, they will work under the direct supervision of training officer every day and learn how to appropriately apply the knowledge and skills they learned in the police academy.
