The Texarkana Texas City Council meets for the final time in the month of October this evening at 6pm.

Oct 26th “The Town that Dreaded Sundown” Spring Lake Park Movies will start at dusk and there will be concessions.

Bark At The Park
This year’s “Bark At The Park” will held Saturday, November 4th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Kylee Sullivan Dog Park in Spring Lake Park. Rabies vaccinations and city registrations are free. There will be other vaccinations available for a minimal fee. All dogs must be on leashes and all cats must be in a carrier. For more information, please call (903) 798-3535.

2. Consider approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the City Council held on October 9, 2023 at 6:00 PM.

3. Resolution No. 2023-140 authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract for the Barkwood Road Sewer Replacement and Relocation Project, in an amount not to exceed $1,321,829.98. Funds are available in the Utility’s 2023-2024 budget in the Texas Infrastructure Fund. Public Hearing: Council Vote: October 23, 2023

4. Resolution No. 2023-142 authorizing the City Manager to execute a one-time agreement with HALFF Associates, Inc. of Shreveport, Louisiana, in an amount not
to exceed $138,000, with funds budgeted from the 2022 Bond Fund (Fund 425), to supply the design, surveying, and drawings for the Kennedy Lane and Westlawn
