Parks & Recreation Events:

Bramlett Beans N’ Cornbread Texarkana Convention Center
(New Location)

The Employee Appreciation Lunch will be held at the Texarkana Texas Convention Center
this year. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Catering will be provided by Big Jakes BBQ, sponsored by Farmers Bank & Trust and the
City.

The City and Texarkana Water Utilities will hold a Job Fair on Wednesday, November 17th
from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Texarkana Texas Convention Center.

The annual “Bark in the Park” will be held December 4th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the
Kylee Sullivan Dog Park in Spring Lake Park.

budgeted funds, for the Millwood WTP – Settling Basin Interior Repairs/Liner Project
in an amount, with the Texas portion, not to exceed $232,659.39 and the total amount
not to exceed $379,666.11 Public Hearing:Council Vote: November 8, 2021

2. Resolution No. 2021-100 casting all 760 cumulative votes for Jay Davis for
membership on the Bowie Central Appraisal District’s Board of Directors to serve for
the 2022-2023 term. Public Hearing:Council Vote: November 8, 2021

forth in the Texas Term Sheet ($192,094 allocated to Texarkana, Texas).
