This will be a big help to many students of the University.

Here is a Press Release from Texas A&M-Texarkana:

We are excited to announce that the T-Line transit system will be returning to the A&M-Texarkana campus for daily service on August 24th. We will have a brief press conference at 1:30 pm where members of the university administration will make remarks before getting on busses to travel the Richmond Rd/Route 6 line through town. The city will provide two private busses for the event so that students and other university community members can try out the route without making all of the regular stops.

This is a much needed addition to our campus community. The university has a significant number of students without access to transportation. Having a T-Line stop on campus will better enable them to experience the greater Texarkana area at a very affordable rate. Students will be able to ride the bus for $1 each way or may purchase an unlimited monthly pass for $20.

We hope you will be able to join us at 1:30 on August 24th as we celebrate this wonderful campus development. The event will take place near the T-Line bus stop, located just in front of the Patterson Student Center along Bringle Lake Road.
