The FDA has issued a warning not to cook chicken in NYQUIL. We have seen some dumb TikTok trends over the last few years. But sadly, some TIkTokers just didn’t ‘get’ it. The FDA says boiling NyQuil could concentrate the meds, making them extra potent, and the steam from it can cause lung damage.
We did a quick search for “NyQuil chicken,” and we were pleasantly surprised to find that TikTok had deleted the “Sleepy Chicken” challenge has been deleted. Instead, a safety warning reads, “Some online challenges can be dangerous, disturbing, or even fabricated.” However, searches for “sleepy chicken” or a misspelled version of chicken do still produce results.
