A local school district in Northeast Texas will not be open this week due to Covid-19 cases.
The Bloomburg ISD in Cass County says they will not be holding instruction this week due to a high number of staff out with Covid. The district feels this is the best decision to protect the staff, students, and community during this time.
The district will be using state provided Covid days, so they will not have to make up these days.
