A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Shreveport.
The advisory runs from 2pm Sunday until 8am Monday for the Texarkana area. This includes a chance for rain, possibly mixing with or changing to snow tonight through Monday morning.
Any accumulation of snow should be fairly light with one to possibly two inches possible.
Winter Storm Warnings for heavier accumulations are in effect to the South of Texarkana, across East Texas and Northern Louisiana.
