A case that has never been solved in Texas, led to the creation of the lifesaving Amber Alerts.
Recently January 13th was National Amber Alert Awareness Day.

Out of tragedy comes hope. Today is National AMBER Alert Awareness Day, honoring the memory of 9-year-old Amber Hagerman who was abducted while riding her bicycle and murdered in Arlington, Texas on January 13, 1996.
As of last week, the AMBER program has successfully recovered 1,127 children as a direct result of the program and those who have helped by keeping an eye out for these children when they see that an alert has been issued.AMBER Alerts work because of YOU!
