The death toll from the Coronavirus in the Texarkana area continues to slowly climb.
The Bowie County Joint Emergency Operations Center says three more people succumbed to the virus to bring the total in the county to 104. 36 fatalities reported in Cass County and 16 in Miller County for a total of 156 in the three county area.
Miller County currently has 49 active cases that official are tracking.

Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports 4 new cases since Wednesday, December 3, 2020 for a
total of 2,579 positive COVID-19 cases, with 104 deaths. The Department of State Health Services is reporting
2,092 recoveries.
Cass County added 18 new cases, for a total of 770, with 703 of those recovered, and 36 fatalities.
