Texas Side Looking to Entertainment District

The Texarkana Texas City Council is expected to approve a downtown Entertainment District similar to what already exists on the Arkansas side of State Line.

A public hearing and Council vote is slated for tonight’s  meeting which the public is invited to attend and begins at 6pm at City Hall.

MPO Public Meeting:
The Metropolitan Planning Organization will host its first public meeting for discussion of
the Texarkana Stateline Avenue Corridor Study. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June
29th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn (Texarkana Arkansas Convention
Center), 5200 Convention Plaza Drive, Texarkana, Arkansas.
Citizens from both sides of Stateline are invited to come and give input for this corridor
study. Virtual feedback can also be provided at: statelinecorridor.com.
