The number of active cases begin tracked has increased quite a bit this week according to local officials.

Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports 74 new cases since Monday, September 21, 2020 for a total of 1,250 positive COVID-19 cases, with 683 recoveries and 71 deaths. There are currently 496 active cases in Bowie County.
Cass County has 26 new cases since Monday for a total 338 cases with 274 recovered and 15 deaths. Cass County currently has 49 active cases.
