A big honor for a local high school student who has a future in the military.
Here is the Press Release from the Pleasant Grove Independent School District:
Pleasant Grove High School Senior Brooks Beck was awarded a nomination to West Point United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy, and United States Air Force Academy by Congressman Pat Fallon.
Beck was one of only 10 students given a nomination in the 4th District which runs from the eastern Dallas /Fort Worth suburbs to Texarkana, TX. The nominations make Beck eligible for admission to the military
academies which he plans to pursue.
