We learned today from Shawn Vaugh, Texarkana Texas Police Officer, PIO, that the charges against Montavious Sharp, 22, have been upgraded to Murder after Cedrigch Traylor was struck by Sharp’s vehicle on N. Stateline died on Wednesday.
The investigation revealed that 35-year-old Cedrigch Traylor was intentionally struck by while walking on the sidewalk last Saturday. The two men are believed to have been business partners.
Montavious Sharp fled the scene but turned himself into TTPD detectives the evening of Saturday, January 9. Initially, Sharp was charged with Aggravated Assault, but those charges were upgraded on Thursday, January 14, 2021. He remains in the Bi-State Jail.
