It’s Tax Season which seems to bring out even more scammers who will contact you, posing to be from the IRS or even local police. Sadly these scoundrels prey on vulnerable people with threatening or intimidating calls and emails. If you think that you have been received this type of communication, please report it to the Federal Trade Commission. To submit a report online, click here or call 1-877-FTC-HELP ((1-877-382-4357). Your complaint can help protect other people. By filing a complaint, you can help the FTC’s investigators identify scammers and stop them before they can get someone’s hard-earned money. It really makes a difference.
