This year’s Texarkana Homeless Coalition’s Annual Bridge City Chili Cookoff is February 25th. This annual event offers the public an opportunity to continue to help those most vulnerable in our society, the homeless. Homelessness is a grave subject warmed up with this annual community event.
Funds raised through this event sponsored by Texarkana Homeless Coalition will coordinate homeless services, fund scholarships, and educational opportunities. Additionally, this annual event offers bragging rights for the whole year on who has the best Chili in Texarkana!
We hope you’d join in on the fun and compete this important night out. The fee to enter the contest is $25.00. This family fun evening is free for the public to attend with great heartwarming chili along with raffles, music entertainment. Raffle tickets with prizes from area businesses and much more are available for various raffle prizes: tickets are $5 for 1 or $20 for 5, sold at the event or from a TXK Coalition member.
We are excited to announce the two different categories: “individual/civic organization” and “restaurant” divisions.
