Those wanting a free Covid-19 test at the Texarkana Bowie County Health Center will have to wait a few days.

The free testing site at 902 W. 12th Street Texarkana, Texas will suspend operations this afternoon, February 10, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. and will not reopen until Monday, February 15, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. More information will be provided about testing when it becomes available.
Texas DSHS reports 20 new cases in Bowie County since yesterday, February 9, 2021 for a total of 4,375 positive COVID-19 cases, 1,808 probable cases with 163 deaths. The Department of State Health Services is reporting 544 active cases currently in Bowie County.
