‘Free Internet with a Tablet’ | Affordable Connectivity Program Details

The Affordable Connectivity Program is the opportunity to receive “free” internet for a year to qualifying Americans. Affordable Connectivity Program was developed to help families get connected to the “internet” during the pandemic with a device. For a small activation fee, you will have a tablet along with free internet to help you stay connected during these trying times. David Watkins, Volunteer District Coordinator with Community Wellness America, is ready to help qualifying area residents register for this important program. Qualifying criteria include those receiving WIC, SNAP, Medicaid, Disabled Veterans, Federal Housing, to name just a few. There are two locations primed to help area residents enroll in this new program. This program can be a little confusing, so just call David with any questions.
1- 201 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, Texas
10am – 3pm.
2- Bowie County Health Unit – 901 W 12th Street, Texarkana, Texas
9:00 am – 4 pm.
If you are unable to leave the house, David or one of his team will come to the house and assist you; simply call ahead and schedule a home visit at 903-793-2517.
