Fall Downtown Bicycle Tours Resume

The City of Texarkana, TX, in partnership with the Texarkana Museums System, will restart Downtown Bicycle Tours this fall. This season has four dates and three themes to choose from for touring.

Bicycle tours will be held each Friday evening at 5:30 pm from October 14th to November 4th .
“This season we have decided to repeat the past two tours and add a Halloween themed tour,” shared Community Engagement/Parks Project Manager, Keith Beason.

The Cycle Through History Tour Schedule includes:
 October 14 th – Historic Buildings
 October 21 st – Murder and Mayhem
 October 28 th – Murder and Mayhem
 November 4 th – Public Art

These tours are free to those that bring their own bicycle, and cost $5.00 for bike rental at the Museum of Regional History. Each tour is limited to 10 people total per tour, with only 5 rentals bicycles available.

The tours begin at The Museum of Regional History, 219 N. Stateline Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75501, and will include various stops in both Texarkana, TX and Texarkana, AR before concluding at Pecan Point Microbrewery, where appetizers will be provided for participants.
