Come out and support our FFA in New Boston on April 16th, starting at 5:00 pm. Enjoy a sumptuous BBQ plate for only $5.00. We will be treated to an acoustic performance by FFA member Jack Abston from 5:00 pm til 6:00 pm. The Project Auction will begin at 6:00 pm. Bring your lawn chair and meet us over at the T & P Trailhead Pavilion. This is a great way to support the hard-working FFA students of New Boston. On April 16th under the Pavillion in Downtown New Boston we will be hosting the Annual New Boston FFA Auction. For those that don’t know all the proceeds go to help local kids in the agriculture community as they travel to livestock shows and various competitions, they compete in for the school FFA chapter. The money raised allows the Alumni Chapter to pay for hotel rooms and various other expenses throughout the year as well as buying materials and tools for shop projects the kids build and show. Many of those projects the kids built and showed this year will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. This year we have set a goal and are trying to raise enough money to purchase a good tractor for the students to have access to at the school farm where many kids house and raise livestock projects. These are some extremely responsible and hard-working kids who give up countless hours of their personal time to raise and work with their animals. I invite everyone to come out and show these FFA kids that we support them. What better way to spend a Saturday night than with a $5 BBQ supper plate, entertainment provided by a local student and FFA talent show participant – Jack Abston with an acoustic performance followed by a super fun old-fashioned auction experience.
